Katie Morris has a nice sub lesson with good instructions and visuals over on her blog, "Adventures of an Art Teacher."

I just discovered this blog....what a great idea! I am a first year art teacher, and I have not yet taken a day off, partially because I dread writing sub lessons. Thanks for sharing.
